If you see the error message shown below, and tapping the black Retry arrow does not resolve the issue, Storm Shield was unable to access the weather data for your Current or Saved Location.

This could mean one of two things:

1) Your device may not have a reliable Internet connection. A good way to verify this is to see if your other apps are having connectivity issues as well. If so, you will need to establish a better network connection. Storm Shield will automatically receive data again once your device has re-established a better cellular or Wi-Fi Internet connection.

2) If this error persists, and you've verified your device and other apps have access to a reliable network connection, Storm Shield may be having difficulty accessing its data for some reason. Please contact our support team to report the issue. Tap the Gear icon in the upper-left corner of the screen, then Support, then Contact, and select the App Related category. This provides our Support team with some helpful diagnostic info about your Storm Shield installation to help troubleshoot the issue.
