The radar view of the land areas within the US is derived from land-based radar and weather stations, and the offshore (beyond the range of the land-based radar) radar images are satellite-derived.

Our imaging software tries to "stitch" these images together as seamlessly as possible, but a "stitch-line" may occasionally appear at the interface and there may be a small change in time, image scale, and resolution along the line.

The line is not related to any borders or boundaries, but is solely dependent upon the range of the particular radar stations contributing.
